Teaching + Mentoring.
Helping designers move from projects to portfolios to professional life.
Sophomore Level
Early foundations in visual communication — building core design skills, systems thinking, and process documentation. Students learn how to think critically about image, message, and audience while beginning to shape their own creative voice.
Senior Level
Capstone work focused on synthesis and professional readiness. Students define their point of view, refine their portfolio, and prepare to enter the field with confidence, craft, and a clear body of work.
Junior Level
Design deepens into strategy and human-centered problem solving. Projects connect to real organizations and community partners, pushing students to move beyond aesthetics into clarity, purpose, and real-world relevance.
OPen Electives + other courses
Flexible, exploratory courses open to multiple levels — often centered on design thinking, advocacy, or professional development — creating space for experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
